Taryn and Santa at the Ward Christmas Party
Taryn had a hard time meeting Santa Claus for the first time. I am sure she will do better in the future.

Someone needs a bath
So here is what happens when you give your baby control of the spoon and let her feed herself for the first time. Looks like she still needs to figure out were her mouth is exactly. I think 3% of the meal made it to her mouth and the rest of the 97% of it made it some were on her face, buster seat or the floor. Oh well we'll just have to keep working on this.

A fun day at the Beach
So my Mom and Paul came into town for a fun filled week. Our first day out we went to Crystal Cove and I loved it. It is a beach bu it is also a State Park so it didn't have the same feel as most beaches. Plus we went on Monday and it was a little cold so we were the only ones. I loved it. First we walked around to some look out, and then walked around the beach. There were shells on the beach but you weren't allowed to take them because it a state park. Taryn had fun. At first she just sat on the blanket but then she took off exploring on her own. She really likes playing with the sand.

Crawler Girl
The day of her nine month Birthday Taryn decided that she was ready to crawl. Its very slow and thoughtout. It is even sneeky. I ask Stephen to keep an eye on her while I finished up dinner and just set her next to his feet. When I peeked around the corner Taryn was no where in sight. She crawled under the computer desk and was heading towards the cords. We have some getting us to a mobile baby I guess, but none the less I am excited that she is crawling it is just so cute!!

Props to my Hubby
So Stephtn took some amazing pictures of our little girl and then made them even better by making small adjustments on photoshop. Isn't he so talented?!! Plus I just have to share this story. Last night Taryn had one of her worst nights ever just refused to sleep much at all. When I got myself out of bed Stephen had already left for school. But to my great suprise He had made me some breakfast and even cleaned the dishes!! I married a good man, I am so blessed.

Miracles still happen
I have to post about a small Mircale that I witness a couple of days ago. Right before our cruise Taryn got very sick. She woke up in the middle of the night and was throughing up severly. I was scared to death and all alone and basically didn't know what to do. After three hours of Taryn continually throughing up, and still waiting for her to see the doctor, I asked my Dad and Vicente (my brother in law) to give Taryn a blessing since Steve was not there. Once Taryn recieved the blessing she stopped throughing up and was better. I know that the priesthood blessing she recieved healed her and also gave me peace in mind. I am greatful for our Heavenly Father and I know he Knows about our worries and concerns and if we just ask he will help us. I know that the power of the preisthood can heal us and give us peace of mind. I am greatful for the knowlege and the truth that I have recieved from being a member of my church (The Church fo Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.)
Taryn and I got to do a lot of thing off the boat as well. I think her favorite thing was being on the beach and playing in the water. She cried every time I took her out of the water but soon forgot once I set her down in the sand and she would start playing. We also went to an aquiriam in the Bahamas which was really coolthey had some huge fish. Also on the disney island they had the flying dutches from one of the pirates of the carribiane movies. It ws really cool to see.
Being on the cruise sure whipped us out. We were so busy going from one activity to the next naptime was forgotten. Some times Taryn would just pass out in places that seemed impossible. Like in the middle os a movie or in a very noise restrant. I would look down on my baby would be sleeping and nothing could wake her up. Plus once we got home it has been Sleeping day for her she took 2 three hour naps and went to bed early even!!
